We do not adopt cats, they adopt us. Usually, when we go to an animal shelter to adopt a cat we don’t pick a cat that ignores us, in fact, we bring home the one that walks up to us and chooses us as its family. We do not stand a chance with a cat that doesn’t want to be with us and ignores us regardless of how much we love it. Among all the pets, cats appear more certain about their actions and decisions. They just know what they’re doing and what they’re picking. Maybe that’s why they are so picky when it comes to food.
Being a cat owner is like being on a rollercoaster ride. We have to go through a lot of ups and downs. Every day with a cat is a new experience. Honestly, being a cat owner is the best thing that can happen to us as cats are extremely amusing animals. No one has ever complained of being stressed out in the presence of a cat. Even if they are not responding to you when you call out their name, they are still quite entertaining. Whether you’re a cat owner or not, you would still be amazed and overjoyed by this animal. Since nothing lasts forever, cats too have a limited lifespan. Usually, they live up to 2 to 16 years and give us memories that last a lifetime. A lot of people share the stories of their cats on Reddit every day. These stories tell us about life with cats and the ups and downs. Here we have picked 23 photos of cats some of which have passed on the other world but left behind memories that will remain with us till the end of time. Scroll down to check them out.

“I am in the bathtub to be in water rather than air. The cat is in her kimchi tub to be in air rather than water. It is a tubseption.”
Cats are curious. They want to know what we’re doing at all times. They want to make sure that we’re safe and that our actions are not harming us or them in any way. Just the way we love our crazy felines to the moon and beyond, they love us too! They may not show their love but deep down inside they do. We’re not just a source of food to them, we’re much more. That’s probably why they want to be a part of everything we do.

“She was a stray when we found her. Once she got settled indoors, she would randomly leave for a day or 2 and come back, for years. Sometimes a little beat up from whatever action she ran into in the streets lol. But she would always come back. In other words, she was definitely a angel in the house & a gangsta in the streets lol.”

“His name was Cookie. He spent most of his time sleeping outside in the grass or on somebody’s lap. He loved rolling around in the dirt and playing in boxes. He was the most perfect cat and always seemed to know when you were feeling down. I’m extremely sad but I’m so grateful to have had him in my life.”

“It’s the right thing to do in my opinion if you want a pet! The only bad thing is that an street abandoned animal like mine came with a ton of health issues that are not under control and separation anxiety because probably never felt safe before being rescued off the streets by the rescue association 🙁 But otherwise is an absolutely rewarding thing to do and I really recommend rescue animals if you’re patient and willing to nurture a probably sad, scared animal <3”
