How many of you are familiar with the dude with a sign?
Back in October 2019, Seth Phillips & founder of the Jerry Media, Elliot Tabele, went onto the streets of New York SoHo neighbourhood to protest while holding a cardboard sign which said, “Stop replying-all to company-wide emails.” Even though the protest was originally supposed to be for Telebele’s Instagram but since people could relate to it, the @dudewithsign account was created and within just four months, it garnered about more than 4 million followers! Wow, isn’t that incredible!?
But you’ll be surprised to hear that now we have an adorable pupper in town holding a cardboard sign to follow the footsteps of hoomans and guys, that’s the cutest thing you will ever see! The doggo protests on behalf of his fellow species and he has a lot to say! From asking to be the person your dog thinks you are to protesting against the fireworks, this doggo had some of the purest words of wisdom to convey on a piece of a cardboard sign. Yes, we understand you have started to get curious about it now, so, without any further delays, let’s go ahead and see what else the little doggo had to say!

In an interview with Bored Panda, Caroline, who happens to be the owner of this adorable little pupper named Baboy (aka Babi or Babs) that you see in the pictures, she told us that she was inspired by dude with the sign guy’s Instagram! The plus point was, Baboy really likes to hold things in her mouth and Caroline thought this could be the perfect opportunity to make hold onto the signs!
Furthermore, she added, “Babi loves learning new tricks, playing with her doggo friends, snuggling with Daddy, and, of course, protesting. The internet’s reaction has been pretty positive. It’s definitely reinforcing when people reach out and say the account made them smile.”

When questioned about the ideas of the signs that her little pupper was holding, Caroline said that she took out time and spent a lot of time with people who were obsessed with their doggos. “That is very helpful for brainstorming ideas,” she said and added: “I also have been relying pretty heavily on doggie cliches.”
