Being obese can be detrimental to your health.

And that applies to animals and humans. Now, I don’t think I should be the one preaching this since I’m not doing a good job at this myself but it isn’t good for your pet’s health if you let their weight get out of control. While I am well aware chonkers can look absolutely adorable, it doesn’t matter if they don’t get to live as long.

However, sometimes we don’t really intend to feed them a lot, it just happens sometimes and it can end up getting out of control.  Precisely why we have compiled some of the most drastic weight loss transformations that are sure do motivate your pet. Just show them these and see how much they wanna exercise and lose that extra fat.

Let’s not shame anyone here based on their weight and get on with it. Take a look at the amazing before and after by scrolling below.

#1 The first mistake was naming her lunchbox.

One of our 14 year old cats, Lunchbox, now weighs HALF of the weight she was when she came to our sanctuary.

#2 Riley looked great in both pictures.

My dog Riley, before and after her diet.

#3 Danni Devito went from round to oval.

#4 She looks so much younger now as well.

My Lucy has lost 10 lbs and is officially in the healthy weight range for corgis!

#5 Didn’t know 4 pounds could make such a big difference.

#6 She looks more fluffy than the actual rug.

#7 When you wanna look like a different person after quarantine.

#8 She is very surprised at her own progress.

#9 2 years gone by and looking amazing.

#10 That smirk in the second picture is everything.

#11 I wonder who let him get this fat in the first place?

Adopted this cute and (very) overweight kitty a few years ago, put him on a diet and now he’s less than half the weight of when I first got him!

#12 Oh no poor doggo, Glad he’s doing well now.

Hello my name is Kai! I was dropped off at a vet clinic and asked by my previous owners to be put down because I was 173 pounds and couldn’t move well.

#13 That little white fluff is absolutely adorable.

He went from 20 to 14 pounds!

#14 He looks so much happier now as well.

#15 Before and after 4 years.

#16 Is it even the same doggo?

#17 So much healthier now.

#18 Just look at how content he is with his life now!

11kg to 5kg. Moon got diabetes and had to loose some weight. Now he’s much healthier than 10 years ago!
