Whether we talk about humans or animals, parenting is hard. No matter how much you say that it is beautiful and that kids are a gift, we all have to admit that there are times when you just want to get away and just take a nap. There is no shame in admitting that but today we are only focusing on the troubles that come when your pet gives birth. First of all, there is automatically more chaos because cats and dogs usually give birth to a litter which means a group of babies rather than just one.
And it isn’t like someone teaches them how to parent so it is just in their instinctive nature to take care of their babies. And while it may not look as hard as ours because their babies usually grow up quite fast, it is clear that even they need a break sometimes. If you don’t believe me, we have the proof right here in the guise of some pictures of animals with their babies looking quite tired. So just scroll below to see for yourself.

I understand that humans are used to parenting their pets. I mean there was even recent research that suggested that many people choose to sort of adopt a pet rather than have their own babies to get the same affection and love. I am sure you have seen strollers with cats in them or animals dressed up in baby clothes. I suppose it has become a way for younger people to distract their parents who want a kid. So naturally, we also take on a parenting role for our pet’s babies but that doesn’t mean our pet isn’t there for it all.
