They say the best drug for human is another human, and it’s true. We all want a true friend who loves us for who we are and isn’t judgmental at all. Someone we can freely talk to and spill our heart out when we’re with them. This is why humans are known as social animals. We need a companion to survive. Fun fact, animals feel the same way about friendship and companionship.
There are countless examples of animals making friends with other animals from different species. The most famous stories among all are the stories of cats and dogs. These two are famous foes, but when they become friends, they’re absolutely inseparable. We came across a heart touching story of a Tamaskan husky puppy Raven, and a tabby catto named Woodhouse. Their story is unique because Raven picked her best friend herself. Raven’s mommy Christina took her to an animal shelter where she picked out her own cat sister to grow up with. Aren’t they the cutest? Both Raven and Woodhouse are absolutely cuddle worthy. Their friendship is surely exemplary. There’s a thing with cats and dogs, they’re either best buddies for life or they’re the worst enemies ever. It all depends upon their first encounter, and their age also plays an integral part in it. When the two are introduced to each other at a young age, they’re more likely to become friends. Christina knew that Raven needs a friend to grow up with, so she took her to a animal shelter in Lubbock, Texas. Christina told Dodo in an interview:
“I had always wanted a dog and a cat to grow up together. It’s been like a life goal. I wanted them to be able to get along well, So I wanted her to actually meet the cat and have the cat get along with the dog as well.”
These two are such sweethearts. We can’t get enough of their adorable friendship. What do you guys think? Let us know in the comments below. We love to hear from you.
