Nothing in the world can take away this precious smile.

Cats are usually very polite animals. They never cause you any harm and mind their own business. You can say that emotionally, they’re very intelligent animals. They take their space when needed and if they see someone worthy of sharing their love with, they will actually love them without any fake feelings. It’s genuine, alright. If you look after a cat and take of it. It will always come to you and will spend its time around you.

But that’s going to require some effort from your side too. Hurting a cat is quite possibly the worst thing you can do, the roads do not only belong to you, but they’re also homes to various animals and you should always drive really carefully and at a low speed because you can unintentionally cause damage to any wildlife living near that area. With the sudden rise of automobiles, animals can feel really threatened. And with deforestation at the peak, humans need to adjust a few things here and there, so they can live in harmony with their animal friends. Mostly, animals feel the most unsafe when they’re crossing roads. They take shelter under cars too when the temperature is high or very low. These are a couple of things one needs to keep in mind because otherwise, if there’s any sort of damage to the animals, they have to live with that for the rest of their lives, and these poor creatures cannot even speak about it which is even worse. The animal would go on with their lives but in agony.

Duchess, A Siamese cat who had a very rough life prior to being saved, was found with a crooked jaw. This poor animal got hit by a car which rendered her jaw in a hanging position. No one can even imagine the pain she must’ve gone through, even simple tasks like eating and drinking would’ve been a hassle for this little feline friend.

Duchess, however, was rescued and her rescuers immediately rushed her to the Adobe Animal Hospital and Clinic in Texas, where she received her treatment. Her jaw was looked into by the doctors and the staff there gave their full attention to Duchess’s case. However, even after surgery, her jaw couldn’t be stable. She had to be fed through a feeding tube.

With this in mind, Duchess was adopted by a woman named Crystal who immediately fell in love with our smiley Siamese friend. She felt an instant connection with Duchess and she is going to look after her like she’s her own child. Bless her.

”Every day, I would spend time with her, petting her, talking to her and when the doctors asked me if I could give her a home a few weeks later, I knew immediately we were meant to be in each other’s lives.” Crystal said.

With that said, we can be sure about the fact that Crystal really loves her. And to be honest, every animal in the streets deserves a loving home.

I personally think that Duchess is such a cute cat and her smile only adds to her adorableness. I’m really glad that there are people who would take in animals as pets regardless of the fact that they have an injury or anything. Providing a home to someone who doesn’t have anywhere to go to and looking after them is the sweetest gesture of humanity.
