Moving into a new home is often a joyous occasion, marked by fresh surroundings and new choices. For Reddit user Green-Ingenuity-783 the recent move meant upgrading from a rental to their own house, complete with white carpets and a matching sofa, inspired by their cat’s snowy fur.
However, there was one issue. Their friendd had an untrained black dog who previously made a lot of mess by peeing and pooping every where. OP wanted to avoid that happening in the house now he owned so while invited the friends over to the housewarming party, OP requested them to leave thrir dog behind. Drama ensurd.
It is OP’s house. So it in his right to decide who can come in and who can’t. Dogs can stay alone for a few hours, it is not like OP’s demand was outragrous to leave the dog behind.
Besides, I don’t know if OP is rich or not but furniture these days is too d*mn expensive, so I wouldn’t want to risk mine with an untrained dog.
