Unlike dogs, cats are not easy to impress. Dogs are very simple, you throw a ball and tell them to fetch it, and they’ll act like it’s the best day of their lives. However, cats are a completely different story. You can even summon a dragon for them and they’d probaby act like they can do it better than you.
Which is exactly why it’s not surprising when cats don’t appreciate your efforts. Of course, we are not expecting them to say ‘thank you,’ but by showing interest in the things we do for them they can show their appreciation. Now, you can expect this from any pet in the world, but not cats.
Find it hard to believe? Think of all the times you bought your cat expensive gifts and they showed no interest. Of course, there are always exceptions but the conclusion is still the same:

Honestly, cats are like spoiled kids. They’ll just do whatever they want regardless of what you tell them. I think all of this is a result of giving them too much love.
