Redditor Puts Up A Fence Where Their Neighbor Opposed, A Dramatic War Erupts

Neighbors can not always be a blessing.

OP (26F) moved into a semidetached house in the UK last December with two cats. The neighbor on one side is great, but the other neighbor (40sF) is problematic. The houses don’t share a driveway, but there’s no fence between them. Legally, OP can put up a fence and informed the neighbor, who became upset, claiming she liked not having a fence and needs space for her son (13M) who has additional needs. Since then, the neighbor has been nosy and overbearing, even demanding OP’s friend move her car from OP’s driveway. OP wants the fence for privacy and safety.

7.  The host told OP to lighten up. OP argued it was unfair to award $50 to a store-bought dog costume, leading to a heated argument and OP being kicked out.

8. OP’s friend parked in her driveway, causing neighbor to complain. Neighbor and her visitors regularly cross OP’s driveway, triggering OP’s Ring camera frequently.
