What better way to spend time in quarantine than by doing something useful and productive?
We’ve all been under lockdown for over a month now, and it has taught us many things including the importance of all those that we love. We were so engrossed in our daily lives that we barely gave time to ourselves, our families and to our pets. If anything good has come out of this quarantine situation, it’s that it taught us that life is already short and we should spend as much time as we can with our loved ones.
One thing that’s worth noting here is that all this free time has brought people closer to their families and to their pets in particular. Previously, we have seen how from hairstyling dogs, to wearing silly costumes for morning walks, people came up with unique ideas of utilizing their time. Not just that, a lot of people are now also using their crocheting skills to make miniature couches for their cats!
How cute is that? While some of us may still view this quarantine life as boring, others including these cats below are definitely having the time of their lives! Check them out.
“I didn’t expect my cat would ever sit on my completed cat couch, but when I woke up the next morning, he had already found it!”
“I got this pattern to make a crocheted kitty couch and my cat Callie really likes it as you can see. She relaxing and watching the birdies outside the patio door.”
Crocheting kitty couches isn’t exactly a new trend. Though it gained popularity in recent months, particularly in the last month as everyone had more time to work on these and bring them to completion in their free time. However, this trend is quite old. In fact, one of the photos in this very post dates back to 2009!
