Incompetent Husband

Many men have perfected weaponized incompetence.

Many men have perfected the art of feigning incompetence in order to avoid responsibility or tasks that they dislike. This behaviour can be observed in a variety of contexts, including household chores and professional settings. Now, some may believe that I am only going after men. However, that is not my purpose, and the fact that we will only be discussing incompetent men today is because many wives have to deal with such situations.

Weaponized incompetence is not unique to men; it is a common behaviour that can harm relationships and productivity. It is critical to address and confront this behaviour in order to promote a healthier dynamic. While we can talk about gender roles all day, these two issues should not be intertwined, and everyone should be able to live their lives independently. Cooking and cleaning, for example, are skills that everyone should be familiar with, regardless of gender.

Individuals must accept responsibility for their actions rather than relying on gender stereotypes or expectations. By encouraging independence and self-sufficiency, we can break free from harmful patterns and establish more equal and fulfilling relationships. In the stories above, we can see that these guys should know what they’re doing, but they act as if they don’t even have common sense. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been accused of having my head in the clouds, but this is on another level.
