Home Buyer Wanted Lawn To Be Mowed And Emptied Garage, Regrets It When The Neighbor Does Exactly The Same

Buying or selling a house can be really stressful. A lot is at stake, and many things have to go right for everything to work out smoothly.

OP is currently going through a divorce and selling their house. The buyers are very demanding since they are first-time homeowners paying a lot with current mortgage rates. Tomorrow morning, the sale closes. One day, the buyers asked OP to mow the lawn and clear the garage. OP had already moved out, sold most stuff, and had no lawnmower. The realtor found a lawn guy to help. OP gave items left in the garage, like tiles, paint, storage racks, and tools, to neighbors for free. OP checked the house and found spare filters, toilet paper, bulbs, and a wi-fi extender, which OP uninstalled to sell. Now, the new buyers will need to buy these things themselves.
