Being popular in high school feels amazing, like you’re on top of the world. But once you leave that bubble, reality hits hard. It’s true that when you’re high up, the only way to go is down, and it happens more often than you think.
Sure, the jocks and cheerleaders who seemed untouchable might find success, but movies have taught us that it’s often the shy, nerdy kids who end up with the CEO jobs and fancy cars. The truth is, life happens to all of us. When we leave high school, we can’t help but wonder what happened to our classmates.
Today we will go through stories about where those popular high school friends are now, and some of their journeys are quite surprising.

1. From an upperclassman to a normal person just like everyone else.
2. She knew her passion and pursued it.
3. The perfect students.
4. Once a big deal, now can’t crack house deals.
5. So it went pretty smoothly.
6. They froze in time.
Time changes so quickly, and so do you along with it. You can never really be certain where your long road trip of life will take you next. It is always a guessing game for some while a big punch of surprise in the face for others.
A banker may end up as a software engineer in 10 years. Similarly, the roured varied drastically for some the aforementioned popular high school kids.
7. Being good-looking or nice at sports among a small group of people doesn’t mean you can easily contest for the same in the real world.
8. It will never be as easy as it was in high school.
9. That didn’t work out too well.
10. The normal kids ended up achieving way more than the popular kids.
11. So I am assuming the brightest was the least popular, and she ended up succeeding the most.
