Woman Keeps Feeding The Stray Cats Around The House, Husband Threatens To Leave Her

A lot of people adore animals.

So it is no surprise to see that a lot of people end up adopting pets just so they can have a companion for a long time. After all, we definitely know that our pets won’t really betray us which we don’t know for sure when it comes to human beings. And while not everyone may be a big fan of animals, those who are will find a way to help animals wherever they go. That is where strays come in.

Most areas have a few strays walking around and most of them need help. I mean their life isn’t easy since they need to scavenge for food and people can be really cruel to animals. So it is always heartwarming to see animals being taken care of. Haven’t we all watched hundreds of youtube videos where animals get rescued and it is always so wholesome? Although not everyone seems to think that way. And that is where this particular man comes in.

The title may seem simple but the story gets quite complicated as it goes on.

She loved her dog but she had to rehome him just so she could live with him.

But when she realized that there were a few strays around their house, she was quite happy.

As it meant, she could help those poor animals.

Everything was going well until she got a call from him and everything broke loose.

They both got angry and she shot back when he said feeding the cats was expensive.

The call ended with him threatening to leave her if she doesn’t stop this.

I would have done the same thing in her situation. I know it can get very expensive to feed the strays but they’re living beings as well and they deserve to have some food. What I don’t understand is why the husband is making such a big deal out of this. I understand that he may not like animals but that is not an excuse to treat his wife that way. And is feeding a few strays really a good reason to leave your partner? In my opinion, there must be something deeper to this.

People in the comments were quite surprised by the whole interaction.

While some were mad at her for abandoning her dog.

Simply put, she is just helping some animals.

She really is trying her best.

There were a few who had a few questions which she promptly answered.

Some people agreed that everyone was wrong here.

A lot of people would do the same.

And her husband just can’t stop her from doing it like a child.

They need to talk it out and make a compromise.

This is not how relationships work.

She didn’t want to rehome her dog but she had no choice.

Most cats I have met are lovely.

She just wants to help some kitties and that is it.

He had quite the overreaction in my opinion.
