Cats are not mean or selfish, they just make rather difficult choices in life. It’s not that our cats are oblivious of their surroundings, in fact, they are completely opposite to that. A cat is well aware of its surroundings and the threats that linger around. Those threats can be anything from the mouse that steals from their human’s kitchen to the cat in the neighbourhood that just moved in with its peasants. At the end of the day, it’s up to the cat to save the day.
Cats love to petrol their neighbourhood and sometimes doing so, they lose their way back home. They don’t do that on purpose, they either get caught into something or they become a victim of an unfortunate event. On rare events, cats can be cunning and it is possible that they start living with a new owner in a new home. Cats can go missing for days or even years, leaving their rightful owner devastated. According to a national study conducted by ASPCA on lost pets, 74% of the lost cats were found and 95% cats returned home on their own. Janet Adamowicz, the owner of the elder cat named Boo tried her best to find her beloved feline everywhere she possibly could for a year, but all went in vain. She had given up all her hopes of ever seeing Boo again. Janet was extremely devastated until one day out of the blues, she received a call from a wet about 40 miles away. She is now happy to have her darling feline back after 13 years.

Robert was shattered with pain after losing his little friend Chebon who is a tabby cat. Unluckily Robert lost him while he was planning to move to Ohio from California. He changed plans and kept finding his lost buddy, but no luck. He was in agony, he stayed in California for a whole year trying his level best to find Chebon until he gave up. One day after 7 years, a kind lady found a lost cat, upon taking him to the vet she discovered her chip. She tracked down Robert and reunited the two Friends.

Mindy and Luke Criner are proud parents of this adorable orange boy named Cat. He went missing for 536 days leaving his parents worried and heartbroken. They searched everywhere but had no luck until one day they received a voicemail from the animal control. A man has been taking care of Cat for a whole year. Criner’ were extremely happy to have finally found their beautiful orange boy. Mindy drove up to that man’s house and Cat jumped straight into her arms.

“The family who contacted had only been feeding him for a week or two. Not sure what his four years prior to that looked like but he was found pretty far from where he was lost so I assume that he moved with a family at some point and then either escaped or was left or what have you. Also he’s much fatter than when I knew him so I have to believe he was a house cat “

“I’m so pumped to see this guy again. T-Shirt, named after the character from the T-Bag tv series, apparently has been living around an apartment block being fed by the lovely people that live there. One of the residents brought him in after he was injured and wanted to get him fixed and look after him. As much as I wanted T shirt back, the guy and the cat have been together for so long so I agreed with his request to let him own the cat… with visits allowed lol. If you find a cat, get a vet to scan the chip!”

“He used to be very naughty and liked to go outside a lot. We thought somebody must have taken him in as he’s such a cute cat. Clive was nine months old when we lost him – and he was a lot smaller then. When we got him back, we were shocked to see how big and fluffy he was. He’s been living the life of Riley in that pet food factory. We heard Clive was a bit smelly when they caught him, but he seems fine now. He recognizes us; he’s just fatter now. I think he’s been enjoying himself feasting for the past year. He’s wasn’t a big eater before, but he always had to eat very quickly before his brothers stole it. He was probably glad he didn’t have to compete with them to eat for once. He has a huge appetite now though. I’ve had to leave him with a big bucket of food; he just won’t stop eating. We’re not going to put him on a diet though, he’s just a bit rounder, but he’s a perfect cat picture.”

“Princess was mostly an indoor cat. I let her outside a little more each day then one day she disappeared. I’m assuming she got catnapped because she was found today one hour drive from where she was taken. A vet scanned her microchip and called my cell. A nice lady that only had her for 10 days took her to the vet and got her all cleaned up and free of fleas. I got the lady’s number and she let me have my pet back with no issues. I am so fortunate she is in good condition and that my boyfriend was able to drive one hour each way go pick her up today.”

“A bit over 5 years ago my wife and I moved house, about a 7 minute drive from the old place. A little over a month after that, one of our 2 cats (my cat, Artimus, the first pet I had ever gotten myself) got out, and didn’t return home. I went out looking, called the local vets and the shelters, spoke to the neighbours at the old house, and waited for a phone call which didn’t come. I checked back in every week for a while, but no luck.Then at the start of December, just before my birthday, I get a phone call from Animal Aid.”We have your cat.” It was the best birthday present I could have received.”
