Most people believe that pit bulls are dangerous animals but they’re just big adorable doggos. Pitbulls often get a very bad rep because in media (mostly) they’re portrayed as tough, scary dogs who wouldn’t hesitate to attack anyone in its sight but that is never the case. Pit bulls are very tame dogs and very emotional too. These adorable dogs only look angry because of their physique but in reality, they’re very expressive and they are very calm and laid back. Remember a dog (and this out for all the dogs) is only as friendly and well behaved as its trainer trains it otherwise any dog and yes! Any dog would be violent towards humans and other animals. Pit bulls are angels, if you really want to see the devil’s spawn, look out for a Chiwawa. Those things are absolute violence dispensing machines.
So today we look at a pit bull who was fortunately given a second life and he couldn’t be happier. Meatball had a very rough life before he was rescued by Lisa Reilly. He was found in a no-kill shelter. And upon finding a new life with Lisa, he couldn’t stop smiling as if his life took a 180-degree turn in the best possible way, and we’re glad it did.
Lisa’s previous dog Kitty had passed away not long ago due to a serious illness and this made a welcoming meatball in her life even more special.
“One benefit to having a fat dog is that he extremely treats motivated,” Reilly explains. “He’s also extremely toy motivated and loves to play. So he’s willing to ‘work’ for any toy or treat, which makes taking pictures of him so easy.”
“He’s truly a mama’s boy, though, and just wants to be next to me all the time, It’s great to have though, as you really can’t have a bad day when he’s around. I’d dare anyone not to smile being near him.” said Reilly
It’s always nice to see an animal being rescued by people who would love them just like their own children and we’re glad to see Meatball finally getting a good conclusion. Let us know your thoughts on this story in the comment section below?
