Some animals love sleeping.

We are well aware that cats are infamous for napping anywhere and whatever time they can get. Now, I am not saying cats are lazy but I am absolutely saying that cats love sleeping whenever they get the chance. And the same can be said for specific dog species. However, cats shouldn’t get all the blame as lots of other animals sleep much more than cats. Koalas for example can sleep for 22 hours per day. The reason behind this is that they want to conserve energy and also because they like sleeping.

It really is as simple as that. I mean when I was a kid, I wanted to stay up late to watch TV or whatnot but nowadays, I am in heaven when I get to have a few more hours of sleep before I have to start working. So it is not surprising that animals love taking a nap as well. Although they do look much cuter when sleeping than any human. If you don’t believe me, we have proof for you right here. Honestly, the reason why cats sleep is so much is not only because they like it but it is also because they have smaller lungs relative to their size. This means that they are much more agile which is useful for hunting and such but this also means that they don’t get as much oxygen as some other species. This means that they get tired much more easily and need a lot more naps to get their energy back.
