“My House But That’s Not My Cat”- When People Hilariously Got Adopted By Cats

Cats know how to teleport. They can appear at anytime and anywhere they want. That too, without warning. It’s crazy how they do it but it’s true. I mean, you could be entering your house after a tiring day at work and boom! There’s a kitty meowing in your lounge. Now, you feel surprised because that’s not your cat and you are not a cat owner. It’s probably an intruder who ran in through the dog door and after patrolling the entire neighborhood has your house under inspection. Now, you wish to get rid of the it as soon as possible, but it’s so adorable that you reconsider and start taking pictures instead.

We’ve seen so many pictures roaming around the internet with the caption “My house but that’s not my cat.” Well, as familiar as it sounds, there happens to be a Facebook group with that title where people come and share pictures of stranger cats in their homes. This group is founded by Stephanie Holcomb and now has over 20K members. Stephanie says: “Cats would just let themselves in people’s houses via doggie doors or open windows, and these people didn’t have cats! They were hilarious, so I did a little search and found that there wasn’t a group made up specifically for that yet.” We have shortlisted 40 funniest photos from that group and they will surely crack you up. Scroll down and enjoy.

Cats are naturally very nurturing. They’re like a mom when mom’s not around. It doesn’t matter if the baby is a human baby, puppy, cub or their own child, They will love it like their own. They care for it, they would cuddle it and try to help in whatever way they can. We think cats are inconsiderate of their surroundings, especially the species they surround, but that’s nothing but a lie. Cats do care.
