Not that I would know but from what I have seen, kids require a lot of attention. And even if most parents say that having kids was one of the best decisions in their life, it is not for everyone. However, becoming a parent changes you. Many people become much more caring overall and worried as well which coincides with them wanting to keep their kids safe. And that includes keeping them safe from animals.
That is why many parents don’t keep pets around their kids. They think that the kid will get hurt. Now I am not going to say that it doesn’t happen but it is very rare. And if you are always there to supervise your kids, then there is a high chance nothing will go wrong. Most of the time when kids get hurt is because the animals retaliate after being annoyed for too long. But the following times the kids and the animals fit perfectly together like two puzzle pieces.

It is actually scientifically proven that kids who grow up with pets are much more social than ones who don’t. And this is especially good if they’re the only child as they will get to interact with the pet rather than needing a sibling. And many pets know how to keep the kids safe as well and will do anything in their power to entertain the kids.
