Fast food is meant to be affordable.

Fast food is frequently advertised as an inexpensive and convenient option for quick meals on the go. For people who are constantly on the go and do not have time to cook, it is the only way they can eat anything. For example, college students who live in hostels and are unable to prepare nutritious meals will frequently opt for instant noodles. In comparison to instant noodles, a McDonald’s burger can seem like a luxury.

However, the primary ‘benefit’ of fast food is its affordability. But what happens if that is no longer the case and fast food becomes expensive? That is the question posed by one TikTok user, who had to pay nearly $17 for a single McDonald’s meal. It may not seem like much to some, but I believe it is far too much for McDonald’s. Call me biassed, but I don’t like McDonald’s and think the food is bad, so I wouldn’t spend that much money there.
