Sometimes, group trips fall apart before they even begin.
Reddit user snowboardingblues shared her story about how her boyfriend’s friends uninvited her from a ski trip she helped organize because they decided it should be a guys-only event.

1. From a trip she planned? This is going to be interesting.
2. OP planned and paid advances for a ski trip with her boyfriend and their friends.
3. Nearing the trip, OP found out she had automatically been disinvited from the trip as one friend’s girlfriend wasn’t coming and it was an all-guys trip now.
4. OP felt hurt and was confused as to why they didn’t want her on the trip as they all had the same interests.
5. The friends were OP’s too but this incident led her to believe they never really cared about her…or women in general.
6. To them, she is only their friend’s girlfriend. However, OP has shown time and time again that she truly considers them all her friends.

NTA. First of all, OP needs to leave her boyfriend. That guy did not take a single stand for her. If that is how important his friends are to him, he should leave OP and move in with them. Pathetic!
OP should abandon the trip not just by not going with them…but also by taking a refund on all the deposits she put in to book everything in advance for a smooth flow of the timeline. They don’t deserve to feed off of your efforts. Let them do it all from scratch!

11. I don’t think after all that happened, still showing this much support for her boyfriend’s decisions is healthy for OP.
