Meet Mr. Murderbritches – A Ferocious Baby Bobcat Is Going Viral For Her Angry Reaction

Wait a minute, did you read that wrong? It says “Murderbritches”, not what you thought!

Anyways, moving on, as this story is about a Bobcat, let us enlighten you with a few interesting facts. Bobcat AKA Lynx rufus is known to be one of the most wildcats which are found in North America. There’s an estimated number of about 2.3 million to 3.5 million species of Bobcat. However, spotting a bobcat can be hard as they are rarely seen across their range. But why are these cats named Bobcat? Well, that’s because these species can be easily identified by their tail which has a cut or “bobbed” look and only measures 4.3 to 7.5 inches.

Now today, we will be introducing you to a bobcat named Murderbritches (a weird name, we know), who’s an angry little bobcat who ended up gaining the attention of millions of people after footage of him went viral over the internet on famous platforms such as Facebook & Twitter. But what was the footage about? It showed the baby bobcat punching and hissing at a police officer from inside a cage and that’s where the fans decided to name this angry little cat as Murderbritches.

Meet Murderbritches!

When officers came to relocate Mr Murderbritches to a less populated area in order to release him back into the wild, that’s when they caught the angry little cat having a feast of chickens in Kanarraville, Utah, in November. The Bobcats are timid and avoid humans so which make them more aggressive as compared to usual cats in order to protect themselves if they are threatened. And that is the reason why he was so upset with the officers who were simply trying to help him the poor little creature.

After seeing the clip of Mr Murderbritches, the Center for Biological Diversity created the video with subtitles that translate the cat’s growls into sassy, aggressive remarks. So the officer decided to help the poor creature but Murderbritches was definitely not comfortable with the officer’s presence.

As soon as the officer tried to open the cage, Murderbritches hissed at the officer and tried to scratch him!

The officer got slightly scared and moved back. He waited for the cat to get comfortable.

After a few minutes, he tried again.

At this point, Murderbritches spotted another guy and wasn’t really happy with his presence as well.

The other guy tried to distract the cat with a stick and the bobcat not only hissed at the other guy but also tried to chew the stick.

Now finally the cage was opened and it was time to run!

As the cat says, it’s time to run!

But hey, the cat thanked them too and went into the wild.
