Many of us stuck in awful jobs with even worse bosses dream of getting revenge for all the unfair treatment we’ve endured. Well, Reddit user Tiredworker27 shared how they actually did just that.

OP shared that he went out of his way to shield the company from his boss’s poor decisions. Despite his hard work and dedication, instead of receiving a raise or a promotion, he got fired. He made sure to let his boss know of the big mistake he made. And this was done by investigating his boss’ Masters and PhD degrees that he bragged so much about. OP ended up finding out his theses were plagiarized and reported them to the concerned authority. The boss’ honors got canceled after a review.

1. Such a title would excite every age group to read what happened.

2. OP had a rich boss who didn’t know how to spend his money.

3. He had inherited all his wealth from his grandpa so he really didn’t care much.

4. And he had zero idea about the Company and the employees he was leading. It was a pure disaster.

5. OP was the only one keeping the company alive, and his blocking his boss’ obnoxious transactions, which would end the whole business, resulted in him getting fired.

6. The boss would always brag about his PhD while making stupid business decisions, and that memory took a special spot in OP’s brain.

7. OP never believed his boss was a PhD so he decided to go on a research trip down memory lane. And to his success, OP found out his boss’ PhD thesis was filled up to the brim with plagiarism.

8. OP emailed the concerned authority about this and after reviewing, they canceled his Masters and PhD.

OP was right. Man, that must have taken a lot of effort but imagine the satisfaction that must have flushed through OP’s soul after receiving an official email that his boss’ PhD thesis had been canceled. Not only did OP go through the guy’s entire thesis and pick out all the plagiarized text, but he also had to do a year’s worth of waiting to finally hear back on the decision that the University had canceled his boss’ Masters and PhD degrees.

Man, patience really is a virtue!

9. OP got to know about the cancelation from the people who still worked with that guy.

10. OP believes either someone wrote the thesis for his boss and didn’t pay much attention to the bibliography, or it was a direct copy-paste.

11. The technology wasn’t as advanced as it is today to detect such theses, and the count was so high.

12. A solid lesson for everyone who has a bad boss. If they say they are educated, high chances they are probably lying about it.
