There’s always that one person in our families that is against keeping pets. They won’t allow the ‘damn’ pet in and if we still bring one, we’re both going to get kicked out. That one person is usually the dad. Who’s most definitely the owner of the house and the head of the family. When dad says no to something, it’s a straight no. You can’t argue with him. However, you can try to convince him or try to talk him into agreeing with you, but there is usually no other way.
Some dads are tough and strict. No one stands a chance in front of them. Luckily, if someone manages to get the permission to keep a pet dog or a cat that dad particularly hates, there are some house rules that are to be followed strictly by the pet or else there can be consequences. The good news is that this ‘hate’ doesn’t last long. Dads ultimately end up loving the pets and start to treat them as our equals. This type of bond is extremely delightful to see. Undoubtedly, this is the purest form of love. A lot of people share their pet stories and how their dads who were against pets end up loving them, breaking their own rules. Here are 44 photos of dads vibing hard with the “damn” pet they didn’t originally want. Scroll down and check them out.

Guess all grandparents are like that when it comes to pets. They don’t like them at first and that may be because pets shed a lot of hair and grandparents usually have allergies. Due to their age, they may be suffering from some sort of respiratory problem or other health issue that they become intolerant of pets. The fur of animals like cats and dogs can cause respiratory problems and allergies. Although our senior family members dislike the presence of pets, with time they develop a bond so strong that they start to treat those pets like their own children. I can say that with surety as my own grandmother wasn’t happy with our cat at first and now they both are inseparable.

My dad last year: "I'll never have cats. Pets in general are too much work. I don't want to ever have pets again."
