Taking revenge is not always the best way to resolve the matter, but it sure can be sweet if it’s well deserved. A good example of this would be when someone purposefully chooses to be an inconvenience to others.
Ia_ja, who posts as Redditor u/Ia_ja, told the community of ‘Petty Revenge’ about the time they decided to teach such a person a lesson. In this case, the OP drove 60 miles to a liquor store looking for a specific wine, but the staff refused to sell it to him because of a specific policy regarding identification. The customer was seeking retribution, however, not because of the policy itself, but because of the manner in which the manager handled the situation rather than the policy itself.

Via
12. She said that employees were watching the op and that person and that person apparently left 30 minutes before OP went to check out

Via
13. Yes if that is your policy why didn’t they say something when they saw the other person leaving?

Via
14. Bruh weird employee

Via
15. Well yes even if that was the case the least they could have done was offer an apology for the inconvenience

Via
16. Okay so the employee was wrong after all

Via
17. Interesting

Via
18. Well anyone would be shocked

Via

Via
22. He knew what he was doing

Via
23. So OP basically ruined the whole day for the manager and the staff lmao

Via
24. OP thought that they might cancel the order or call that they would call him

Via
25. They sent OP 3 reminders

Via
26. Well did she actually remember him?

Via
27. Bruh OP is a savage lmao

Via

Via
35. Lmao imagine going to buy alcohol on your 21st birthday and getting told this

Via
36. Exactly why would they let him continue shopping knowing that they won’t let him checkout

Via
37. What would they say if he actually did that though?

Via
38. Well yes it is weird, someone driving an hour and a half each way just for wine lmao.

Via
