Artist Is Changing The Race And Ethnicity Of Disney Princesses And We Are Stunned By The Results

There has always been a lack of racial and ethnic diversity in Disney movies.

Disney has always been known for its enchanting stories and captivating characters that have captured the hearts of people of all ages. However, one criticism that has been levied against the company over the years is the lack of racial and ethnic diversity in its character line-up. While Disney has made efforts to include more diverse characters in recent years, such as Princess Tiana in “The Princess and the Frog,” there is still much work to be done. If Disney were to fully embrace diversity and inclusivity in its characters, it would not only be more representative of the world we live in, but it would also create a more meaningful and impactful experience for viewers.

One way that Disney could add diversity to its line-up is by featuring characters from different racial and ethnic backgrounds in prominent roles. In addition to featuring diverse characters, Disney could also expand the representation of existing characters. For instance, in the upcoming live-action remake of “The Little Mermaid,” the casting of Halle Bailey as Ariel has been praised for its diversity. However, Disney could take this a step further by incorporating aspects of African-American culture into the story, such as music or dance, to further celebrate Bailey’s background and provide a more authentic representation of her character.

Disney could make a concerted effort to include more diverse voices in its creative process. By bringing in more writers, directors, and producers from different racial and ethnic backgrounds, Disney would be able to create more authentic and nuanced stories that reflect a variety of experiences and perspectives.
