The world we knew before 2020 is a lot more different than the world we know now. We all will surely agree to the fact that this pandemic has changed our lives, for better or for worse. It has had a huge impact on our daily functioning. Our routines have completely changed. But now as cities are reopening and the lock-downs are easing up, people have started going back to their previous routines.
Pandemic has not only changed us, but also our pets. Our pets who were not really fond of seeing us in the house 24/7, now have to bear with us for the entire day. Some pets became clingier, some got annoyed, and some have started bouncing on your exercise equipment.
But today we will be specifically talking about our cats. And how annoyed cats have been throughout the pandemic. Sometimes I feel like, our cats miss the feeling of missing us. Because now we are with them so much that they don’t like our presence. Cat owners have been sharing how their cats just walk away from them, keep on gazing at them, even make resting bitch faces while being photographed. One cat owner shared how whenever they try to sit next to their cat, to have a play time, the cat would just get up, move away towards the sofa very grumpily.
Cats are definitely not taking quarantine well. And we have proof in the form of pictures and stories in this article! Scroll down and see;

“My cats are so pissed that we are home ALL THE TIME. They love each other normally, but lately they have been turning to one another more often. My cats usually tolerate my 2-year-old daughter but have now gone into straight up dislike. My short hair cat, Camus, has begun pooping on our daughter’s bed. We have to remember to keep her door closed or else we have more laundry.” – sarad4b6a7909b

“Pancake has been stress eating too!” – daunejaimesd

“My husband and I are both considered essential, but he has recently been able to work from home. Apparently Molly is still mad I was home for three weeks following surgery in February and really doesn’t want humans up in her business. My husband says she stared at him like this for most of his day.” – catiedid43

Some people like staying at home and working from home, while others miss going out to work and going to restaurants. Binge eating has been on list of a lot of people. While we are staying at home, our cats are not really liking the idea of us being at home. These pictures are a proof, and well we have a lot more of these for you. Just scroll down and see!

Yes, cats are somewhat mean but after seeing these images, I have realized that quarantine has made them meaner. But I am sure that cat owners are still obsessed with their cats, even after their crabby, irritable and prickly behavior. Also because this behavior is understandable, pandemic made us all agitated at some point. What do you think? How has covid’19 effected you and your pets? Let us know in the comments section below!
