In humans, this is much more uncommon. Since kids might have similarities with both of their parents, they usually don’t look like a mini replica. With cats, this can be different. And it is like you are seeing a mini version of your cat which is highly adorable.

The reason sometimes kittens can look like the exact replica of their parent is the same as humans. However, most of the time kittens usually end up looking like a mix of both parents. But even if the parents have black fur, their kitten might be grey. That is because of dormant genes that cats carry. And if both cats have the same dormant gene then the kitten can turn out completely different. This can’t happen with ginger cat since one parent has to be ginger but with most other fur, this is a real possibility.
