Cerebellar Hypoplasia is a syndrome in cats in which the cerebellum is not does not develop properly. Cerebellum is a part of the brain that is responsible for balance and coordination.
When a pregnant cat becomes infected with feline panleukopenia virus, it passes on to the unborn kittens and as a result, they are born with this disease. Jerking movements of the head can be seen in wobbly cats while eating or drinking. Well, there is no treatment for this condition and wobbly cats have to live with it for the rest of their lives.
