Okay, so that could be partially a lie because we don’t know if the mythical monsters exist. However, they do exist in our imagination. Cryptids and monsters have long captivated the imaginations of people all over the world, inspiring stories of mystery and intrigue. In recent years, the world of comics has embraced these mythical creatures as protagonists, resulting in an increase in popularity and inventive storytelling. From Bigfoot to the Loch Ness Monster, the possibilities for cryptid-themed comics are limitless.
That is why you would not be surprised to learn about another monster-themed project called ‘Club Crptid’. As the name implies, it is all about cryptids, but it is not horror-themed. While there is nothing wrong with horror comics, those created by the elusive ‘Moth Man’ are typically centred on humour. In this day and age, humans need a good laugh or two, and I believe these comics are an excellent remedy.

While we don’t know much about ‘Moth Man’, we do know he’s been drawing for a long time. He has over 150,000 Instagram followers and appears to be growing by the day. However, there are multiple people involved in the project. Another artist, Céli, created the beautiful colour palette.
Not only that, but due to popular demand, ‘Moth Man’ has decided to release a plushie inspired by his work, which you can find here. I can only hope that he receives much more attention, as his comics certainly deserve it.
