Every dog has a unique and characteristic feature that sets them apart from other dogs in its species. This could be anything ranging from a unique nose shape, enchanting eye color, or fuzzy and fascinatingly patterned fur. Take Blaze, for example, he is a pure Labrador Retriever. He is 10 years old, lives in Finland and he absolutely adores playing outdoors with his owner. He is almost just like every other labrador dog. What’s unique about him, though, is that this young and adorable little pup has a rare condition known as vitiligo. It might sound like a tragic and unfortunate disease but it’s actually harmless and all it does is add some snow to our little doggy’s pavement black skin. That’s right this condition simply turns his skin a different color at some spots. It’s so fascinating to see him change in appearance over the years and still look absolutely stunning and beautiful at every stage. We have collected a few of his pictures that portray just what a bundle of joy he is. He loves to spend his days outside and he especially loves the winters! Blaze is the cutest dog who is loved by many. He suffers from vitiligo but does not let that get to him! Anyone unfamiliar with vitiligo should realize that it is a benign, long-term skin condition marked by white patches on various parts of the body. This occurs as a result of the immune system attacking and destroying pigment-producing skin cells. The incidence of this disorder is far higher in humans, but it is not unheard of in animals as well.
