Well, you might have seen a few similar animated dogs in a movie or maybe a dark cartoon series but this is on a whole new level. This guy, who goes by the name of Nikita Orlov, wrote that he was scrolling through some dog drawings and thought to himself “Hmm… it would be fun to make a centaur from a dog. I bet someone did it already!” and he tries to Google it but didn’t find anything to his surprise. However, Nikita decided to create a couple of mythical creatures known as battle dogs. He said, “I thought of a fantasy world where these cartoon dogs could exist and what professions they might have. Soon I ended up with a whole pack of cool drawings. I posted the cartoon characters, and people liked them. I was very surprised.”
Furthermore, after seeing the amazing response from the people, things started to go in a flow and now he’s doing a collab with the guys from Punga Miniatures and soon, they will be launching a Kickstarter for D&D “The Deck of Many” battle dogs project by Cardamajigs. Also, there is an idea for a tabletop game. Isn’t that great!? Well, I can’t wait for it.
It’s amazing how it all started from a simple and goofy ‘what if…’ idea of these mythical animals and look at it now, reaching on a whole new level! Anyways, coming back to those amazing drawings, let’s take a look at it, shall we? Scroll down to be amazed by these mythical creatures!
