Individuals on the autism spectrum frequently experience difficulties in various aspects of their daily lives, including communication, social interaction, and sensory processing. These difficulties can vary greatly from person to person, making everyone’s experience unique. Some people may also struggle with repetitive behaviours or restricted interests. Recognising and understanding these challenges is critical for providing appropriate support and accommodations. It may appear difficult, but if you understand what they are saying to you, there should be no problems.
That is not to say that everyone is so easygoing; there will be people who deliberately provoke someone for no reason. For example, the original poster (OP) of this story repeatedly told his flatmate about his problems and what not to do. Not only that, but it didn’t appear that the OP was being overly restrictive or dictating what the roommate could do. However, the flatmate continued to create situations that put OP in difficult situations. As you can probably guess, this resulted in drama, and OP moved out without informing his flatmate.

This may go against the grain, but I will say that both parties in this story are incorrect on some level. Of course, OP’s flatmate is the bigger a**hole, as he continued to do things that he knew would make OP uncomfortable or cause him emotional stress despite being warned several times.
However, OP did not handle the situation effectively either, and as he admitted, this could lead to his flatmate losing the house. However, since the update, it is clear that OP is aware of this and has made every effort to assist his flatmate.
