Animals have a way of making us smile.

And I am not just talking about pets. I mean what do most people do when they see a dog or a cat on the street? Well, most of us will try to approach and pet the furry baby. And we might even smile without even knowing it. So it is no surprise that more and more people are opting to get pets in recent years. Not only do animals make us generally much more happier but they also help with stress.

While that doesn’t mean everyone should have a pet, that does mean people who want one should definitely get one. And even if you can’t take care of a pet, you can still interact with animals through a myriad of ways like volunteering and such. I found a bee collapsed in the sun so I gave it some of my pancake and sugar syrup. Now we’re high fiving.

This is Daisy and Luna. Daisy doesn’t like car rides, so Luna comforts her until they both fall asleep.

Found a wet honey bee in a parking lot. She immediately got on my finger and wouldn’t let me put her on a tree. She stayed on me till she was dry and flew off. Her name is Peaches.

Honestly, animals need to be appreciated a lot more, even stray animals. Just like how the Turkish owner of a shop gives makeshift beds to stray dogs during rain, as shown above, we need to do better as well. Because if we try to help them in whatever way we can, we also get a lot in return. And yes I am talking about love.

This mare lost her foal and then, two days later, this foal lost its mother. Here they are an hour after meeting.

Our neighbor gives treats through the fence. Recently, he’s been giving my daughter treats too. This is them waiting patiently today.

Gave my 7-month-old Frenchie his first-ever puppuccino yesterday. I present to you: the look of pure happiness.

We had to shut down northbound Memorial Parkway briefly this morning for some ‘fowl’ road conditions. Officers were able to get this little family across the road!
