We stand with Ukraine.

As do these animals. We are well aware of what is happening in Ukraine and it is honestly a sad sight to see. While there is no bright side to war at all, I am happy to see that there are at least some calming moments for these brave soldiers in between all the chaos. What are the calm moments I am talking about? The moments where the Ukrainian soldiers get to relax while cuddling with an animal.

Not only that but these are also rescued animals. You see, while people may be moving about in the war, the animals have nowhere to go. So many of the soldiers have taken it upon themself to save these animals and it is a bittersweet sight to see. These are indeed traumatizing times for these people but there is still a little bit of light at the end of that tunnel and that is these pictures. There aren’t a lot of words that can be said about what is happening in Ukraine. It is too horrific to put into words. And I am not as well-versed in what is happening there to speak about it. All I know is that it is endearing to see these animals being taken care of even in these trying times. Our hearts goes out to all the people and animals that are hurting right now even if that may not account for much.
