Huskies are weird.

I don’t mean it in a mean way either. I mean most husky owners will agree with me on this point. They no doubt look absolutely regal and gorgeous in pictures but only a husky owner can tell you what happens behind the scenes. Not only are huskies drama queens but they also have quite a lot more energy than many other dog breeds. I personally always wanted a husky until I learned what actually comes with taking care of a husky.

They are just not made for warm weather but people still adopt them just because they love them so much. I mean I understand as I would do the same but it is definitely not easy taking care of a husky. Now, I am not saying this to deter you from adopting a husky but I do think every person should do their research before they get any pet huskies included. Huskies are actually perfect for big families as they are good with children and other dog breeds as well as long as they are well trained. However, they do leave their hair everywhere and you will need to spend a lot of time grooming them. But their social personality more than makes up for that. They are one of the friendliest dog breeds around and aren’t usually recommended for watchdog duties as they do want pets from everyone so just be careful with that.
