If you’ve never heard of a Karen, I’m glad because they’re not the nicest people to be around. But I’d be remiss if I didn’t tell you what they’re all about. When most people hear the name, Karen, they envision a woman with a side-swooped haircut who always requests to speak with the manager. They also believe that they are superior to everyone else. And, while men can be Karens as well, that is not the focus of this story today. A Karen is always demeaning a poor service worker doing their job.
They simply enjoy having power over others. I assume they do this because their lives are boring and they have nothing to do at home. That is why reading stories about Karens getting their just desserts has become a popular pastime for many people. They are also constantly hurried and expect service workers to drop everything they are doing and dance at their command. I’m not sure how anyone thinks this is acceptable behaviour, but it’s exactly what they believe is the right thing to do. So seeing this guy put her in her place in such a fantastic way is doubly satisfying.

While I am not going to debate whether working in the adult industry is right or wrong, I do understand that many people believe it is unsavoury. So this was the ideal opportunity to humiliate her. She couldn’t even fight back because he wasn’t acting aggressively. After all, he just thought she was someone else, right? I’m pretty sure she’ll never set foot in that particular store again. Which, in my opinion, is a win for all of the employees there.
