It’s a beautiful story of a kind human who saved a life of a dog who was starving on a remote island. As soon as we came across this wonderful incident, we thought to share it with you because it’s truly inspirational and it’s certainly going to leave you feeling overwhelmed.
Wesley White, who happens to be a photographer, was travelling for business in Belize. As he’s a photographer, he was really excited to explore the beautiful island to take some pictures. He didn’t have enough time but still managed as he really wanted to enjoy the trip. So, for the first day of the trip, Wesley decided to head towards a tiny island in Thatch Caye by Kayak. As soon as he arrived on the island, what he found was a poor skinny dog, walking all by himself into a deserted fishing shack. The dog was starving and trying to find some food.
As soon as he spotted the poor dog, he tried to call people for help but there was nobody in the fishing. Wesley knew that the dog would barely last another day and it’s really important to save the dog right now. The dog would have starved to death if he didn’t do anything.
So, Wesley brought the dog to his hotel and called people for help. Luckily, many people volunteered to help the poor soul by giving him food and taking him to the vet. Unfortunately, Wesley did not have enough time as he was already on a short trip. He had 36 hours until he had to leave Belize.
Since Wesley had to go back, he made sure to stay in contact with the veterinarian. The veterinarian kept him updated regarding his recovery and told him that the dog is finally ready to move into a foster home. After spending about 2 months into the foster, the dog recovered and now he was fit to travel to Dallas through the aeroplane to reunite with Wesley.
The dog reunited with Wesley! Oh and not to forget, the dog has a new name too. It’s “Winston”. Winston is now happily living a healthy life with his owner and his new friends.
Isn’t it incredible how these two met? Who could have thought that a dog who’s about to starve to death on a deserted island, would have been brought to Dallas and would start living a healthy and happy life? It’s nothing less than a miracle! Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
