Every work place teaches us something new. It exposes us to new experiences that really help up grow as a person. Sometime these experiences are life changing and other times they just become a reason for us to laugh years later whenever we recall these experiences. In the process of meeting our day to day tasks at work, sometimes we encounter entitled yet confused people, popularly known as ‘Karen’. Undoubted they give us a tough time and dealing with them is a pain in the ass. Once when we’re through them, it is a story worth telling.
If you’re working at a fast food chain, then you have most likely experienced a “Sir, this is a Wendy’s” moment at least once. Sometimes people forget where they’re at or where they are calling. They place the wrong order and when corrected, they go full Karen. Sometimes we become speechless, hearing about troubles other people are going through. We think only our problems are the most difficult ones to deal with. Probably because we give into our problems very easily and do not act to resist them. We think, we’re the only ones with all the problems and inconveniences in life. However, it is absolutely wrong. Some people are silently fighting their troubles and appear as if everything is alright. Just like this guy in the above story who just found out that his son is gay.
