If you have ever rescued a stray dog, you would know how different their lives become after getting adopted. Dogs live very different lives in shelter homes as compared to the sheltered and pampered house pets. Dogs are rescued from shelter homes as well as from the street. Dogs without a permanent home do not live a pampered life. They struggle with food and love. They are deprived of love so much that they fear a human even coming near to them. A lot of pets at the shelter are just waiting to get adopted. They see other animals get taken by lovely humans and impatiently wait when their turn will come.

Things turn around for many homeless dogs when they get adopted and they start living completely different lives. A loving family takes them in as a new member of their family. They welcome them with open arms and shower them with love they never experienced before. Some dogs, however, sink too much in the love their new family gives them. Dogs are too cute to not be showered with an excessive amount of love. Few of them exploit the adoration they receive and enjoy being spoiled to its fullest. Scroll below to check some adorable dogs living lives as spoiled pets in their new homes!

10. Elegant Fausto!

Via Instagram

“Fausto is a 1.5-year-old mix. We adopted him from the Tierwaisenhaus Oberglatt in Switzerland. He’s originally from Slowakia. He is awesome and so smart! When we adopted him 8 months ago, he was scared of everything and would often “pancake” – just lay down flat when he got overwhelmed. Via Instagram

“Beefhead was born May 18, 2021, with a cleft palate and lip. He was going to be euthanized since he couldn’t nurse from his mother or eat/drink normally. I’m a veterinary technician, and the old clinic I worked at (Blue Ridge Veterinary Associates in Purcellville, VA) reached out and asked if I’d be interested in saving him!”

This comes right after losing my heart dog – Meathead. She was the 14-year-old Basset I rescued. She passed away this past April 2021. Beefhead’s name is of course a tribute to Meathead! I immediately knew Meathead sent Beefhead to me so I picked him up when he was 5 hours old. He’s the happiest little guy!”

14. Diaper but make it cute!

Via Instagram

“Meet Beatrix BeeBlossom (Bea) who was surrendered by her breeder at 2 months to Road Dogs and Rescue @roadogs due to having Spina Bifida.. Typically, these little pups are automatically sentenced to euthanasia upon diagnosis because the world thinks no one will want them…. but if you ask Bea she’s a normal little English Bulldog, and wearing a diaper is totally normal. She’s now living her best life in Washington DC with her big sister, Kiki. “

15. What a wholesome picture!

Via Instagram

“This is Wu. She’s a 5 months old girl and was abandoned in a box next to the veterinary office. We have no idea what breeds she’s mixed with, the local animal shelter from which she was adopted told us she’s a “seljak”, which literally translates to a “villager”. She’s the sweetest dog, a quick learner and it’s now living her best possible life in Slovenia.”

16. If sunshine were a dog!

Via Instagram

“This is Winchester! We rescued her from Peace Love and Paws Rescue in Michigan after she recovered from her rear leg amputation surgery! 17. Check out that hairdo!

Via Instagram

“This is Wally and here is our story! In November of 2019, my husband and I embarked on a journey to China with plans to be flight volunteers for the rescue @bunnysbuddies on the way home. While we were exploring China and adventuring at the Great Wall we spotted a big dog in the corner of the parking lot as we were getting hustled into our taxi. We snapped a quick photo and drove away. A few hours later once we rescue wifi I was able to send the photo of the dog to the rescue we were volunteering for with a note about how sad it was to see this poor dog caged up. Well, this rescue is something else. Once they know a dog is in need they spring into action. From directions to the parking lot scribbled on a sloppy outlined map the rescue based in San Diego worked with their team in Beijing and found the dog a few days later! And after much back and forth with the owner of Bunnysbuddies she agreed that we were a great match for the dog. They named him baby bear (fitting) but we added in Wally as part of his story. Named after the Great Wall of course. Since his rescue, he has gained 60 lbs and he is the happiest and laziest boy I’ve ever seen. He is our Wally!

18. Spunky Riley!

Via Instagram

“Here is our new rescue Riley. She was 11 weeks old when we adopted her from Halfway to Home dog rescue. She is a wire-haired terrier, dachshund, chihuahua mix. She is a spunky little girl”

19.

Via Instagram

“My name is Phoenix. I was an emergency rescue!! I was to be euthanized at a high kill shelter the very day my foster humans rescued me. I travelled many miles on the very day and the very same highway of heroes route as a soldier being returned home to his family to be laid to rest. My rescue humans were saddened by the loss of a soldier and decided to name me Phoenix as I was being allowed to have my life saved and to be reborn from a life of abuse into one of love. Even though I was full of fear and uncertainty, I stole their hearts and within 24hrs I made my Mom a foster fail and have been loving every moment of having a safe family of my own ever since. I think we rescued each other and I couldn’t be a happier boy!”

20. Meet Sassy Murphy!

Via Instagram

“My boyfriend & I adopted Murphy on June 5th, 2021, she came to NJ from a shelter all the way down in Georgia. We adopted her from 11th Hour in Ledgewood NJ! She is said to be a Heeler/Lab mix but they’re not entirely sure as they never saw her dad. She is a sassy little girl but also, the best cuddle buddy there is! She has a Great Dane & a chinchilla brother! She is our little adventure buddy.”

21. A relaxing view by the river

“Hi, my name is Luna Rey and I am a 3-year-old sassy, smart, stubborn, loving, and energetic cattle dog/terrier mix. I was rescued from a high kill shelter in Texas with my mom and siblings from @2babr. Today I am living my best life in Colorado with my family

23. What an adorable white floof!

Via Instagram

“Keller is a deaf Powderpuff Chinese Crested rescued from Alabama by Lauren’s Zoo Special Interest Adoptions! His foster momma pulled him from a kill shelter and fostered him for over a year before I found him. He had made the long journey from Alabama to Rhode Island for an adoption event before but sadly had no luck. He made that road trip again once I found him on Petfinder and fell in love with his sweet little face. I adopted him at 4 years old, he will be 10 in July! He is now living a very spoiled life in New England”

24. Goofball in orange!

Via Instagram

“This is Dingo, our 1-year-old rescue from @lasanimasdogrescue and @mexpup in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico! He was skin and bones when they found him, and the team spent 2 months nurturing him and strengthening his muscles before he flew home to us this year. Now he’s a 50lb goofball and so happy playing with his neighborhood pupper pals! The best boi.”

25. Beware of the frown!

Via Instagram

“I am a 5-month-old Siberian Husky, GSD cross. I was named Croía “cree-ah” meaning from the heart with a Gaelic origin. I was adopted from @arfalberta who rescued my semi-feral mother, Sage who had a litter of 8 pups from up North. It was a rough rescue, another litter did not make the transport, unfortunately. I was able to grow up in a warm, safe environment until I entered foster care (who loved me SO much). Eventually, I found my perfect match! Isley, also a rescue from 2 years ago and her hooman. I spend my puppy days in the pool, napping, playing with Isley (if I wasn’t a pup you wouldn’t be able to tell us apart) learning manners, and talking”

Wow, it is so easy to spoil our beloved pets with adoration and love. Dogs really become the centre of focus the minute they enter our house. They become the apple of everyone’s eyes and make sure they sap every ounce of love that we are capable of giving. These dogs were embraced so vastly by the new family that they turned into spoiled dogs! I think it is fair to say that humans are very malleable. Humans get trapped in the manipulative tactics that dogs play. Their adorable eyes grab us by a rope and there is nothing we cannot do for them. We just keep agreeing to them and we do not realize how we got so deep in their cuteness.
