Don’t you just love the stories that make you sad and happy at the same time?
Well, we have just the “right story” for you today. The story is of a cat named Pooh who lived in Sofia, Bulgaria. Before we begin with the story, we’d like to let you know that you should brace yourselves as it’s going to get emotional but we assure you that once you’ve read the post, you will be proud of the goodness that still exists in today’s world. So coming back towards the story, Pooh was found in a very bad condition by a very kind woman. Pooh’s back legs were in very bad condition and they needed immediate care. Therefore, Pooh was rushed to the vet and Dr. Vladislav Zlatinov a veterinarian, examined Pooh.
He knew that his legs will have to be amputated but if the amputation did not work properly, the poor cat will have to be euthanized later. It was quite a tough decision to make. The only option they had was to opt for a prosthetic leg but he had never tried it before. He said, “I had the vague idea that this is done, but it sounded impossible for our practice.” However, he decided to go on with the procedure as the options were quite limited and luckily, it turned out to be a huge success!
“Pooh can move freely on flat surfaces — walking, running, even making small jumps… What’s important is that he doesn’t seem to be in pain.” The adorable kitty truly got another chance at life and as soon as he recovers, he will be up for adoption. Gotta say that these pictures are full of emotions! Looking at this beautiful creature getting a new life is the most wholesome moment that I have witnessed today.
