50 Times Talented Artists Amazed Us By Recreating Non-Human Cartoon Characters As Humans

Cartoons lend a certain amount of freedom.

I mean even though in recent times Disney has been giving every cartoon movie a live-action treatment, you can’t do some animated movies justice. Before people who really like the new iterations come for me, I am just trying to say that some things can’t be made better than CGI. The colour palette is always wholly different in live-action than when it is animated. Look at The Lion King for example, while the CGI in the new movie is absolutely gorgeous, it also loses what many would call the ‘heart’ of the movie.

And this is exactly why it is always so interesting seeing talented artists drawing these cartoon characters in their own style while still keeping the original ‘heart of the character’ in mind. Today, however, we take this sentiment a bit further as we have compiled reimaginings of non-human characters which these artists have recreated as humans. So while all of these may not be to your taste, you can’t deny that each artist on this list is quite talented.

I know that some of these may ruin the character for you but all of these have a lot of effort put into them. And even if I don’t like some of these characters when putting them beside the original ones, I can admit that every artist did a great job showing off their unique talent.
