Some days it seems like nothing can cheer us and we just want to give up. Our energy levels are not the same and we feel so down, completely exhausted. There is no motivation left to keep holding on and make it through. It is as if all the light is lost and we are standing in a dark tunnel that has no end. That is when we want someone to pull us out by our hand and tell us that it’s okay. Everything will be fine and we are doing great. A little appreciation and a big warm hug could really help and that is exactly what our four-legged goofy doggos do. They put their paws on our hand and heal us in ways we cannot even imagine.

“My dog Lexi is turning 10 soon. Through college, 3 cities, 2 apartments, and our first real house – anywhere we go, we go together.”
We live in a world where everyone is busy thinking only about himself or herself. No one really gives a damn about other people, even if they are living under the same roof. It is an extremely devastating truth about our society. People have become so damn self-centered that they would waste food while their next-door neighbor slept with an empty stomach. However, some gold-hearted people restore our lost faith in humanity. Just like this man in the tweet, who fed his neighbor’s dog because his neighbor was hospitalized. These little acts of kindness go a long way. They have a huge impact on others. Just like the saying “birds of a feather flock together”, people who have the desire to do good for their society, get motivated and play their part for the wellbeing of its people.
