There’s not a single thing in the world that can bring us the same joy a dog can. That is exactly why every time anyone gets a dog they end up crying because it’s hard to contain such pure emotions. A humorist named Josh Billings once said “A dog is the only thing on earth that loves you more than he loves himself,” and I believe this can’t be truer. You see, the bond between a person and his dog is a bond for life; it’s unlike any other relation in the world. Your lover can one day fall out of love with you, your friends can leave you, and even your parents can disown you! But a dog will stay with your forever.

So, when we finally pick a small four-legged companion to spend the rest of our lives with, it’s one of the most beautiful feelings in the world. Also, let’s not forget the best part about adopting a dog. It’s not always you who chooses the dog, sometimes the dog chooses YOU. Sometimes, they just lock their eyes with you, and look at you with such sincereity that you know they’re the one! And voila! That’s how a forever friendship begins. Here we have collected 20 dog pictures for you that will make you want to adopt a dog right away! Scroll on below and take a look.

Of course, all bonds between dogs and humans are like this. But, there’s something about adopting a dog that just stands out more. We’ve often heard people telling us to “adopt, don’t shop,” but why do we think that is? Well, there are a number of reasons. Mainly, it’s to discourage breeders who don’t actually care about dogs and are only interested in making profits. By selling, they put the lives of innocent and neglected dogs in shelters at risk. When no one’s interested in adopting dogs then there isn’t much choice left for the shelter homes but to consider euthanizing them. On the other hand, if we adopt more, it will not only cost us less but we will also be giving an innocent soul another chance at life. How amazing is that?
