You all must have heard this phrase before. Much like a lot of people here, we too thought—until today—that it’s just an expression people use to express their love for their four-legged best friends. However, it turns out this phrase is actually true. Some dogs do not realise they have gotten big; they still act like they’re small even though their owners can barely lift them. It’s like these dogs only grow in size and remain the same at heart,innocent and sweet. All they want is for their hooman to pet them and cuddle with them 24/7.
Tbh, if you think about, they’re not asking for much. I mean, they are our little furballs at the end of the day. What difference does it make if they have grown a little and have started resembling polar bears instead of dogs? They are still our best friends and that’s all that matters!
In fact, this change is actually good for many of us. These big doggos can make perfect guard dogs. Though their friendly nature and calm temperament would probably let the intruders in, still if you’re lucky their enormous size would scare some of them off!

It’s just crazy how quickly these dogs grow. I mean, within months they go from smol puupers to big doggos! The best part of all this is probably their behavior. They way they jump in their hooman’s lap, completely unaware that they can no longer fit in, is priceless. If nothing, we have got to give them credit for unapologetically being themselves!
