Owls and cats are probably some of the most mysterious animals on the planet. They look very innocent and cute, but when they stare at you, they stare right into your soul. No wonder they’ve been linked to witchcraft and magic throughout history. Although the two are very different, they are, however, similar in one more way — being nocturnal.
Both cats and owls are most active at night which is the same reason why many cat owners sometimes complain about their cats meowing at exactly 3 in the morning. But to call cats entirely nocturnal is debatable as a lot of people consider them crepuscular. All in all, both these animals are incredibly adorable and there’s no denying that. However, make no mistakes! They both can be fierce as well.

When people talk about owls they sometimes picture Hegwid from Harry Potter. But owls aren’t always like that. They are predators who hunt for small animals in deserted places. They have sharp instincts. Which is why sometimes when threatened, they fluff up their wings to ward off possible attackers. Cats on the other hand are also instinctive predators but due to domestication their story is a whole lot different.
But what would happen if an owl crosses path with a cat? Apparently, nothing. It entirely depends whether they start off on the wrong foot or not but there’s this video on the internet that has been making rounds for quite some time and it will show you a certain possibility.
