It’s no surprise that some of the stories and songs we heard as children were much darker in their original context. Because these stories have been passed down over generations, you might expect some modifications. If you wish to learn about Disney facts and hear interesting twists in the storylines we know and how they were first presented, you’ll enjoy this post. These moments may be dirty, unpleasant, or inappropriate for children’s books, but that only adds to the excitement. Here’s a word of caution: you might not look at these fairytales the same way you did previously.
Children aren’t supposed to know this.

I didn’t know Mulan is this dark! Why would someone write such a story for children?

My whole childhood was a lie. This one had a happy ending as far as I remember.

I see why they didn’t include this in the original version.

Didn’t know that jealousy can be this lethal!

It’s weird to know these surprising truths at this age.

I am genuinely SHOCKED to witness the cruel side of Mowgli.

These stories are getting more interesting with every new revelation.

So you are telling me Peter was actually a murderer?

I think some truths should be left untold. It is getting crazier out here!

Damn, these plot twists really be twisting my mind.

I wouldn’t have read the story if I knew this before. This is sadenning.

Thank God children didn’t know this version. Or they would have been depressed by now.

Well, the queen deserves this.

I genuinely feel sorry for Tarzan.

It would have been a funny scene if they included it in the movie

It wouldn’t have been darker than this. Good thing kids are unaware of it.

I prefer the version we heard as a child, instead of this darker one.

I see no point in including this disgusting scene in a movie like Cinderella.

Children should never know this cold scene.

The original Disney movies and stories had really incredible dark storylines. I had no knowledge of most of these, and it’s no surprise that these sequences have been omitted from the stories we currently hear.
Some of them were clearly inappropriate for children, which is why it is obvious why they were deleted.
