We all know that dogs are man’s best friend, but in addition to the happiness and companionship they provide, they may also become important members of our family. There are presently at least 500,000 service dogs in the United States, regularly aiding people who have disabilities. Unfortunately, not everyone realizes how important these pets can be, as one woman just discovered.
This lady published a post on AITA about how her extended family members have been pushing her to shift her husband’s service dog for the moment. Below is the complete event, which may leave you feeling very annoyed for the woman and her husband, as well as some of the furious reader comments to her post.
We’d love to hear your views in the comments, and please feel free to share any personal experiences you’ve had with service dogs. As always, we’ll be waiting to hear from you!

Although you may not come across one every day, service dogs are a significant part of the lives of many individuals with disabilities. They may play a variety of tasks depending on their owners’ demands, but as the woman in this Reddit post mentioned, they are just as useful as humans. You may be acquainted with guiding dogs, which assist people who are blind or visually impaired and hearing dogs, which assist people who are deaf or hearing impaired, but our furry companions may also learn to assist with a range of other tasks.
Seizure detection dogs can be a lifeline for those suffering from epilepsy. They are trained to identify signals that their person is experiencing a seizure and to warn others for assistance, as well as to position themselves to help protect their owner. Diabetic alert dogs utilize their keen sense of smell to detect when their owner’s blood sugar levels begin to go dangerously low. And if it’s already too low, the dogs know how to seek assistance from others.
Allergy detection dogs can be extremely beneficial for children and adults suffering from life-threatening allergies. Again, the dog’s keen sense of smell comes in helpful, as it may be used to detect allergens in the air or in meals that are close enough to their owners to cause serious harm. These canines may also accompany children to school or adults to work to identify allergies in less controlled circumstances, such as a school cafeteria or workplace lunchroom.
Beggars can’t be Choosers!
Yes, the brother should just move out along with his family. Period.
They should just stop existing!
