Even though I don’t have children, I understand that referring to youngsters who aren’t yours as “my babies” is inappropriate… Regardless of who you are.

But, as you may know, some people enjoy going overboard, and that’s exactly what happened in this story from Reddit’s “Am I the A**hole?” page. A woman asks if she’s wrong for banning her babysitter because she referred to her kids as her babies. This might seems like it’s not such a big deal but you gotta read the whole story in order to understand what really happened here. I mean it’s pretty crazy to brainwash someone’s children that your mother is not your real mother even if she doesn’t have a child or she is doing this because she’s lonely. This is no excuse, right?

It is pretty obvious that OP isn’t an A-hole here. That woman was clearly brainwashing the kids the entire time, and the fact that she used to yell at the children saying that she is not their real mother shows that the woman was not so mentally stable. Even if she was a lonely lady and she didn’t have any kids doesn’t mean you go out there to brainwash children about their real parents.
