Entitled Karen Expects Lawnmower To Do Her Yard At A Cheap Price, Can’t Take No For An Answer

Entitled Customer

Some people are far too entitled for their own good.

In today’s society, entitlement has become a common issue, as people expect special treatment or privileges without necessarily deserving them. This sense of entitlement can manifest in a variety of areas of life, including personal relationships and the workplace, frequently leading to conflict and resentment. It is critical to address and challenge entitled behaviour in order to promote equality and fairness for all. However, this is not always possible, as entitled people frequently resort to devious means when they do not get their way.

They are skilled at playing the victim and will go out of their way to get the other person in trouble if they refuse. The majority of the time, the people dealing with their entitlements are service workers or those employed by them. As you might expect, entitled people easily get drunk on power, so events like the one in the following story are not uncommon. It is not surprising to see a potentially entitled customer become angry because they believe someone is asking for far more than they deserve.

Entitled people and choosing beggars go hand-in-hand.

From the start, it just seems like a normal message as the prospective client gives their information.

They seemed polite enough at first until they started getting a bit more arrogant, and their messages reflected that.

The fact that the client said that they don’t take no for an answer is quite bizarre.

OP wasn’t having any of it either and told the client that they weren’t okay with the price or the rude tone.

The client still did not get the hint and even resorted to haggling, which is too little, too late.

The OP was clear and said that the proposed amount wasn’t nearly enough and that they weren’t okay with how the client was treating them.

Obviously, the client wasn’t going to bow out respectfully, so they left with this insult.

Why is it that entitled people always turn childish at the end?

Now I understand haggling. After all, it’s not surprising that not everyone has a lot of money, so sometimes you have to haggle to get the service you need at a price that fits your budget. However, it is usually done respectfully, and if the other person refuses to accept your proposed price, that is entirely within their right. The way this person acted is extremely embarrassing for them, and I cannot believe they would behave in such a disrespectful manner. The OP was definitely rude, but the other person started it, so I believe they deserved this response.

The price doesn’t seem right to me.

The audacity to say something like that is mind-boggling.

People who work in retail deal with these kinds of customers every day.

I am sure the lawn wasn’t going to be very well-kept either.

The neighbour clearly didn’t know how this entitled client was going to react.

Nice translates to ‘easy to take advantage of.’

That is certainly one way to get a discount.

My blood would boil if someone spoke to me this way.

Nothing good would want to stay in their body.

I am definitely going to use this comeback from now on.

I would not be surprised if this happened.
